Fun Run

Last night Maya's school held a family fun run. Maya decided she wanted to participate and got very excited. The last week or so she has been exercising to get ready. The first 400 students received a t-shirt, so we arrived early and she got her t-shirt. Kyle and Maya ran the whole race (one mile). I am really proud of Maya for sticking with it and running the whole mile. There were a couple of times when she wanted to stop, but she stuck with it and kept going. A mile isn't far, but for a 5 year old it is a long way.
