Trip to Oregon

On June 1 we went on a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Vocana. First, we stopped in Boise and I took the girls to the zoo. It is a great zoo because it is cheap and small so we saw everything in less than 2 hours. We then made the drive to Oregon. We went to the beach and the girls got to ride a carousel, get taffy, play on the beach, and visit the Tillamook Cheese Factory. The girls loved tasting all the cheese and getting ice cream. We also got to go to a lighthouse.

Kyle made a sandcastle. It started being a project with the girls, but they got bored after about 2 minutes so it became his little project.

When we got back to the house, we celebrated Maya's birthday a little early. It was a lot of fun because Jaxon and Phebe were there and Maya had a great time. Sophia was terrified of Jaxon, her 10 year old cousin. She told me she does not like "big boys"

On our way home we stopped at Multnomah Falls. It was really pretty and a nice break from the car.
