The last week has been full of fun Christmas activities. Last Monday (Dec. 13) we made a gingerbread house for FHE. As we were decorating it, it fell apart leaving only the roof intact. We decided to turn it into a tent instead of a house. Even though it fell apart, the girls had a lot of fun decorating it anyway. Maya had a fun week at school learning about Christmas all over the world. Every day she would come home and tell me about a different country. They also did a sing around the Christmas tree on Friday. Sophia also spent the week getting ready for Christams at school making presents and an ornament. Thursday for her party, the class went and saw Tangled. Ellie and I joined them and it was a really cute movie. Saturday I took Maya and Sophia to the Nutcracker with a friend and her daughter. They enjoyed it, especially Maya. It was a little long for Sophia, but worth it and a fun outing. We have had a lot of snow the last couple of days, so the girls played in the snow today.
