Boise

This last week was spring break so we decided to take a trip to Boise to see my Aunt Nancy.  We had a really good time and filled our days with fun activities.  The first day we went to the zoo.  They were having Easter activities that day so there were extra things to do.  The girls didn't want to participate in the egg scrambles so for the first 45 minutes or so we had the zoo to our selves.  We got to see lots of animals and even go to see the tigers as they were being let outside.
Maya was nice enough to take Liam on the slide and he seemed to like it.
The kids all got to ride the carousel, this was Liam's first time and he loved it.

Sophia and Ellie got their faces painted.  I think this was a highlight for them.

The second day we went to the Discovery Center which is a science museum for kids.  They got to try all kinds of fun experiments.  There was a pully chair that they got to pull themselves up on.  They all tried it several times.
There was a place where they could pretend to be vets and look at xrays of animals.  Maya of course loved this.
Ellie's favorite part was the shopping center.  She spent a really long time there and loved it so much that we went back the next day.
Liam also loved shopping, plus it was something he could actually get down and do himself.
The last day we went back to the Discovery center and to the Nature Center.  The Nature Center was really cool.  We went on a nature walk with signs talking about everything.  They had a pond with ducks, geese, beaver, and lots of fish.  Everyone really liked this because all the animals were out and active and we got to see a huge fish.  They also had smaller ponds with windows so you could see under the water.  It is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

Liam not only loved looking into to the water, but the fence made for some great chewing.

We also spent some time at our favorite park.  It was super busy, but we still had fun playing on all the equipment.

On the way home we stopped at Kyle's Grandma's for about an hour.  It was really nice to see her.
We had a really great trip and all the kids were super good.  Thanks Nancy and Jon for letting us come stay with you.
