This week Maya got to take a RAD Kids class at school. RAD Kids is a program that teaches kids how to react in certain situations such as bullying, abuse, and abduction. It teaches them the best way to hit an attacker and on the day of graduation they get to practice it on the red man. The red man was the principal wearing pads so the kids could hit him without worrying about hurting him. Maya did pretty well, she is not a very hard hitter, but I am proud of her for trying because I know she was very nervous.
