Yesterday was Maya's first day of 3rd grade. Her teacher is Mr. Jessop. She really likes him and likes her class, even if there are about 2/3 more boys than girls.
Sophia had her first day of 1st grade today. Her teacher is Mrs. Ward, the same as Maya had in 1st grade. She has lots of friends from kindergarten in her class and even made a new friend today. She also had school lunch today and really liked it.
Last night Sophia lost her first tooth. She was so excited about the tooth fairy that she went to bed before we had said prayers or read stories. She was so excited that the tooth fairy left a dollar.

Congrats on the lost tooth Sophie! Hmmm...is Maya old enough yet to like her class ESPECIALLY because there are more boys than girls? Or is that not cool quite yet?
