Temple Square

This year instead of getting the kids a bunch of toys for Christmas, we decided to spend some time as a family.  Last Friday we went downtown and stayed in a hotel and spent the weekend together.  We went to see the lights at temple square, went swimming at the hotel, visited Allie, ate at City Creek, went to the church history museum and saw Santa Claus.  It was a really fun weekend.  They kids all said they loved it so we may have to do it again next year.

 The church history museum has a really great children's area.  It is very hands on and the kids love going.

We didn't get a picture of Santa, but Liam loved him.  He walked right up to him, sat on his lap and told him he wanted a train.  That kid totally gets the whole Santa and Christmas thing.
