Last week for spring break I took the kids and drove to Boise to see my Aunt Nancy. The kids were so good in the car. It was a lot easier than I anticipated. We went to the park several times, spent several hours at the Nature Center, and spent a day at the Discovery Center. It was a short trip, but a lot of fun.
We ate lunch at a park before we headed to the nature center. The kids had a great time and we also saw about 5 deer.
The nature center is so much fun and the kids loved it. The love the visitor center, and the walk. They loved being able to see all the fish in the ponds and rivers.
In the visitors center they had this erosion table. Liam loved it. He could have spent all day playing in the dirt and water.
We went to lunch at Panda Express the day we went the the Discovery Center.
Every time we go to Boise the kids want to go the the Discovery Center. There is so much for the kids to do. This time they got more into all the science experiments than they ever had.
Their favorite place is still the mini grocery store where they can shop.
Liam loved this little blower that could float balls in the air.
They also had a toddler room that had about 4 different kind of blocks. Liam was in heaven.
In the toddler room they had different brain puzzles for older kids. Maya actually did well, it was quite impressive.
We had a really great trip. Thanks Nancy and Jon for letting us visit.
