Programs

We have had a month full of programs.  Sophie had her choir concert at the end of April and it was fantastic.  She has loved being a part of the school choir and is planning on joining again next year.  Sophie also had her 3rd grade program.  It was a trip around the world.  Her class did a dance to a song about India.  It was a lot of fun to watch.  Here she is with 3 of her friends.

 Maya had her Orchestra monster concert.  Since January all the Elementary orchestra's have been working on the same songs.  They split the district into 2 groups and each group played at a concert together.  It was crazy with so many kids.  She has also loved orchestra and is signed up to take it in middle school next year.

The girls also had their dance recital in May.  It was so much fun.  The theme this year was The Happy Project so all the songs were about being happy in some way.  I can not believe how much each of them has improved this year.

Ellie's dance was called Bring Me Sunshine.  She did awesome.  She knew all the steps.  She is super excited to be in a level 1 Ballet class next year.  (She's been in pre ballet for 3 years.)

 Sophie's dance was Me and My Girls.  It was a really fun high energy dance. She has gotten so good. It is so fun to see her on stage dancing and smiling.  She is such a quiet girl, but when she danced you can tell she's having fun.  She is excited to continue with Jazz next year.

 Maya's dance was I feel Good.  They used pom poms and it was a lot of fun.  Maya was a lot more into it this year and looked like she was having fun.  She also is continuing with jazz next year.

My mom brought them flowers and then the whole gang went to ice cream.  Kyle's parents, my aunt Nancy and my mom all came.  The girls felt very special having so many people there to see them perform.
