Happenings

The night before Labor day, the girls had a "sisters sleepover" in the tent in the backyard.  Since Liam is not a sister, he was not invited.  Instead he stayed inside and watched a movie.
The girls giggled, played games, read stories, and stayed up way too late.  They had a great time.
Ellie received the citizenship award at school for showing the character trait respect.  I barely made it to see her receive the award.  They told me the wrong time and I showed up just as she was being called to the stage.
Liam had a field trip to the fire station last week.  We watched a puppet show about fire safety then got to go look at the fire truck.  Liam really liked it.
Grandma and Grandpa Vocana were in town so Grandpa came with us.  This is the very first motorized fire truck that Sandy City ever purchased.
Last week we also met with a diabetic educator and Liam's Dr.  He was given this dog as a special surprise.  Someone had donated it as part of a school project.  Liam loves it.  It helped keep him busy while Kyle and I learned how to take care Liam when he gets sick.
My parents are out of town for the week, so we get to watch this cute puppy.  The kids are loving having a dog at the house.
