Christmas and other stuff

Maya had Young Women's in Excellence in December.  It was a very nice program, and Maya displayed some of the things she's been doing.  She displayed her scripture notes, embroidery, and chemistry notes.
We also had lots of dance going on in December.  Sophie and Ellie did their small Christmas recital and both did great.  I only got a picture of Sophie's class.  Sophie is on the far right.
Ellie had her Sunrise Singers concert and was great. She really loves being in the choir especially since a lot of her friends sing as well.
Ellie also received a citizenship award for showing the trait of being caring.  I think caring is something Ellie really excels at.
Christmas Eve was wonderful again this year.  Dan made a delicious dinner, BINGO was fun, and the kids put on a really nice nativity.  Here is Ellie the angel.
Liam was Joseph and Claire was Mary.  They were adorable playing their parts.
The traditional Christmas Eve picture in new pj's.
I didn't take any pictures Christmas day, bad mom, but we had a great day opening presents and hanging out as a family.  Maya got lots of books, Sophie art supplies, Ellie got lego's  and pierced ears, and Liam got a bunch of lego's as well.
For New Years we went up to the cabin.  It was a really great weekend.  Unfortunately there wasn't enough snow to sled at the cabin, so we had to go into Logan Canyon.  It was a lot of fun, just more  work.

Liam and Aunt Nancy played a lot of Yahtzee, Liam's favorite game.
We set off fireworks on New Years Eve and had a bit of a scare.  The fireworks shot out, not up, and came right at us all.  It scared the kids, and burned Nancy a little, but we all made it out alive and without a hospital visit.

The entire gang Christmas Eve. (It got loaded out of order for some reason)
