Our big family news is that on Oct 12 Allie and Sanchit got married. It was a great day and we are all very happy for them. This was just a small ceremony at the court house, the real big deal is next summer and we are all looking forward to that.

For fall break we went to the cabin. Kyle didn't come, he had to work, but my parents came. We also brought our niece Claire. We had a really great time.
I rarely get a picture of my dad so here he is one night.

Maya did it, but only because we made her. She hated it and refused to be in the picture.
Claire loves spending time with Sophie and Ellie. She got to sleep with Ellie, and here are Sophie and Claire holding hands on the swing.
My dad built a tether ball, and Liam loved it. He spent hours every day playing, even if no one would play with him.
Last Wednesday Maya was invited to attend the Women in Tech awards lunch. It was a big honor for her. Her school received only one ticket and she was chosen. She was one of the only freshmen that was there. Women in Tech is an organization that celebrates and encourages women who go into a tech centered career. One of their other purposes is to encourage more girls to study tech in school. May got to sit with a company and talk with people at her table about opportunities available to women who pursue tech careers. It was a really great event for her and she said she learned a lot.
