We've had an incredibly busy couple of weeks. We've had lots of dance and after school activities.
Ellie showing off her Nutcracker T-shirt. She's been wearing it as much as she can since performances started.
We had our ward party and Santa and Mrs. Clause were there. At first I could only get Liam to sit with them.I did get the others to sit for a picture. Grumpily, but they did it. Ellie was on her way to a nutcracker performance so she had her hair and makeup done.
We also had dance shows at the dance studio. This is Ellie showing us what she's learned it ballet. She has come a long way and is loving ballet.
Her cute class. One of the things I love about our studio is that it is small and relaxed. The girls love the small class sizes. Ellie is far left in the front row.
Sophie with her jazz class. Sophie is quite the little dancer. She enjoys dance day because she gets to walk to her friends house after school and they go to dance together. Sophie is 2nd from the right.
Ellie with her modern class. She has fun in her modern class and has a new teacher this year. She is on the far left.
Yesterday Maya had her first robotics competition with the Alta Robotics Team. For this competition Alta sent only their rookie team. They were one of 2 all rookie teams. I was surprised how fun and interesting it was. This competition was only 12 teams, but Alta took 2nd. We're pretty excited for the big competition in March.
A company that makes droids was there demoing some star wars robots they have. This is a life sized fully working BB8. It was pretty cool to watch.
They also had a R2D2.
Yesterday we also got to go as a family and watch Ellie perform in the nutcracker. We had a large group, 14, and we enjoyed the show. Ellie did such a great job. She has one more performance tomorrow night and then we are done until next year. We really love the opportunity she has to be in such a wonderful production.
