Labor Day weekend we stayed at home, but still had lots of fun. We went and got shaved ice several times.
Labor Day was the girls last day at work. They earned a lot of money this summer, but were really glad that work is over for the season.
Friday night Ellie's friend Lucy spent the night. They played, roasted marshmallows and giggled lots. We don't normally allow sleepovers, but Lucy is basically part of the family so we are ok if she stays over.
Through the library I won a bunch of passes to several museums/activities around Salt Lake. One of the places I got passes was Tracy Aviary. We went as a family (plus bonus kid Lucy) on Saturday. the weather was nice and we had a great time.
It was national vulture awareness day so we were able to see all the vultures and hear about them.
To cap the trip off we attended the bird show. It is always good and the whole family really enjoyed it.
