These pictures posted backwards, so we'll start with our new countertops. We are doing some big renovations in our house. First up was new kitchen counters. I love them and they brighten up the kitchen a lot.
On July 4, Maya was singing on a swing and the song broke. She fell and hit her jaw on a fence post. When it first happened, she was so stolen we weren't sure what was actually wrong. About 3 days later I ended up taken her to insta care. They sent us for a CAT scan and we found out she had broken her jaw in 2 places. Several weeks earlier she had her wisdom teeth removed, so we called her oral surgeon and had a consult. After several Donald it was decided that she did not need surgery. She just needed t to be on a soft food diet for 6 weeks. These pictures are 4 days after the accident. Her bite was off due to swelling around the jaw socket. Fortunately when the swelling went down, he bite went back to normal.
In between the fall and going to the dr, I took the younger 2 kids and Claire up to the cabin. My friend Jenny and her kids came as well. We went up for 2 nights and on the 2nd night Kyle came up with Maya and Sophie. When we went home, Kyle and Liam stayed up for boys camp.
The kids had a great time on the beach. The played in the sand, kayaked and paddle boarded.
All the girls buried their legs in the sand.
On our way home we went through Lagan so we could pick up new Pointe shoes for Ellie in Ogden. We are lunch in the car.
We also stopped at Aggie ice cream.
In near lake we got Italian ice, our favorite
Here is Maya right after her accident. She also scraped up her legs pretty bad.

Poor Maya! It's so hard to see your children in pain! I'm so glad she's nearly better and able to eat now!
