Ellie's Birthday cruise

 For Ellie's 15th Birthday Kyle and I decided that instead of presents,  we would take Ellie on a short 4 night cruise.  We left from Long Beach and stopped at Catalina and Ensenada with one day at sea.  We had a great time.  

In Ensenada we went zip lining.  Kyle didn't go with us because he is afraid of heights.  We did 5 zoo lines and had so much fun.  Ellie as amazing.  Because she doesn't weigh much,  she had to run on the platform so she could make it all the way to the end.  One time she didn't quite make it and they had to rescue her.  She lived it and wants to go zipping again.

After the cruise we had some time before we had to be at the airport so we went to the aquarium.

The aquarium was big so there was lots to do. 

On the cruise we had really good food.  Ellie and I would order different things so we could try more.  This was our brisket on the last night. 

On the sea day we hung out and did lots of activities. 

We played mini golf. 

Ellie tried out the water slides. 

We lived the towel animals that were in our rooms each day. 

On the sea day we went to a comedy show.  It was ok.

We also took a towel animal making class.  We weren't very good,  but it was fun. 

Ensenada was fun.  After zip lining we went for churros and shopping in the city. 

The zip lining was at a vineyard. 

Our room had a window and was quite spacious for a cruise ship. 

On elegant night we had prime rib. It was delicious.

We had so much fun in Catalina. This was a pirate ship in the harbor.  It was really cool. 

We took a golf cart and toured the town of Avalon and the hills above.  There were great views of the harbour.

We also walked around and shopped. We found this fun whale statue.

We had to take a small boat from the shop to the shore.  Large ships can't get in the Hatboro. 

Ellie loved the pretty sunsets on the boat. 

Our first night at dinner we had lamb and short ribs.  All the food was really good. 

The day we got in the ship we relaxed and explored. 

It was super foggy when we first arrived.  Super moody and kind of cool.  Most mornings it was like this and then would clear off.

We had such a great trip.  It was so nice to spend time with just Ellie.
