New Years and Sweethearts

For new years we decided to stay home.  We had a leak in our basement that we were fixing and cleaning up from.  Maya and Sophie hung out together,  Ellie went to a friend's,  and Liam invited a friend over.  It was pretty low key.  The boys did light sparklers at midnight. 

Not much happened in January.  I stayed subbing and it hasn't been too bad.  I've had a couple classes I won't go back to and one teacher had asked me back.  I sub at all the elementary schools in the district.  So far my favorite school is Sunrise.

Ellie went to the Sweethearts dance at school with a bunch of friends.  Some of her friends were part of the club in charge of the dance so they helped set up so they wanted to go.

They are such a fun group of girls.  They made flower crowns together at Paiges house,  came to our house to get ready,  went out to dinner and then to another girls until it was time to go to the dance.  They hung out after the dance as well. 

The girls are Eliza, Faith, Katie, Erin, Lillia, Olivia, Ellie and Paige.

Ellie looked so pretty. My mom took her shopping for the dress and bought the first one she tried on. 

Ellie with Olivia.  They get asked quite a bit if they are cousins because they are with racket all the time and look similar. 

Ellie had a great time.  I'm so glad she had found such a good group of girls to hang out with.
