Christmas!

Christmas was so much fun this year. I love waching my girls open their presents and see the excitement of Christmas time. Last night Santa visited our house and left the girls fun presents. Sophie got a new shopping cart, Maya got a veterinarian kit and even Ellie got a small toy. This year the stockings were full of practical items like tooth brushes, tooth paste, underwear, bandaids, and undershirts. After some time with the toys from Santa we headed over to my parent's (they only live a half mile away) to open presents. Everyone from Christmas Eve was there so it was lots of fun and a little chaotic. Halfway through the present extravaganza we had a wonderful breakfast of french toast and sausage made by my dad. After presents my brothers went off to their in-laws and we went home to play with our new toys. I was able to take a long nap while Sophie and Ellie slept, Maya play Vet. and Kyle put together his new lego set (thanks Brian and Trinidy). We had a really great holiday with family.

Sophie loved the vacuum one of the twins got (I'm not sure if it was Brad's or Seth's) She walked around pushing the vacuum talking on the phone.

Maya with her vet kit. She has been wanting one for months and it lived up to all her expectations. She wants to be a vet when she grows up.

Maya got Sophie a dress-up skirt so that she doesn't have to borrow Maya's anymore.

Sophie got a bowling set which was enjoyed by the whole family. Maya is actually quite good at it and Sophie just knocks the pins down with her hands despite Kyle's attempts to teach her the correct way to play.
