Easter

Our Easter activities lasted all week. On Wed. Maya had an Easter Egg hunt at school. She loved it and was kind enough to share her candy with her Macha and Sophie. On Thurs. the girls ages 8-12 in our ward put on a party for the kids 5 and under. They decorated bags, had an egg hunt and decorated cookies. On Friday it was my brother Dan's birthday so we made cookies for him and the girls had a great time frosting them. Saturday there was an egg hunt and my Grandma's assisted living home. The weather wasn't very good so most of the residents stayed inside and watched from windows, but the kids sure had a great time. That night we dyed eggs and put stickers on them. Today the girls wore their new dresses to church and we went to my parents for dinner. It is so fun when a holiday can last so long.

The girls puttin stickers on their eggs. They broke severel in the process, good thing they were hard-boiled.

The girls with my grandma. My mom gave them the ears and ever since they have been pretending they are bunnies.

Sophie with the Easter Bunny. Sophie was not shy at all while Maya held back a little so I didn't get a very good picture of her.

Sophie and Maya were both incredibly shy during the hunt. They were afraid to pick up the eggs so they didn't get very many, but they didn't care, they were just excited to be there.

Looks like you guys had a fun week. I can't wait until Karlee is older so we can do stuff like that. I love their Easter dresses too. So cute!
