February

We are so tired of February at our house. We have been sick all month and are getting tired of winter and ready for spring. Despite the fact that it is February, we have tried to do a couple fun things.

Ellie is getting so big. She has just started to dress up with the big girls. Plus, even though she is only 16 months, she has started going to nursery. We have a very small nursery in our ward and so the leader invited her to come a couple of weeks ago. She does not need us to go with her and she is great. In fact she is so good, she has been invited to continue to go. So exciting!
Here is another big girl moment. She is sitting at the counter on a stool all by herself. We were eating cookies and I was too lazy to put her in her high chair so I plopped her on a stool, and she did great. The only problem is that now she cries when I put her in her high chair.

Last week I was pretty sick so I was a bad mom for most of the week. I felt bad for the girls so when I felt a little better we baked. The girls love to help make things so we made apple cake. It was fun and the girls enjoyed helping.

Ellie even got in on the action by taste testing the apples.

This is Sophies Valentines hair. I saw this on the internet somewhere, but don't remember where and thought we would try it. It was cute for Valentines day because of the heart the braids make.
