Oregon

Last week we went to the Oregon coast. Tuesday after work we left and drove 5 hours to Boise. We stayed the night at my Aunt Nancy's and woke up early to drive the remaining 10 hours. The kids were awesome in the car. We arrived at our destination in Oceanside and stopped off at the beach before heading to the house. Kyle's family rented a beach house and we had a nice reunion. Thursday it was raining and we went to the Tillamook cheese factory. We got to sample all the delicious cheese, had lunch and yummy icecream. Next we stopped at the Cape Meares light house. It was still raining, but that didn't stop us. It was beautiful. Then we went to the beach and the girls and Kyle went swimming and played in the sand. Liam and I watched and then took a nap back at the house. That night we had a small party for all the July Birthdays, including Sophia. Friday the men got up early and went deep sea fishing. They had fun and caught a lot of fish. Kyle got a little sick, but was still able to enjoy himself. When they got back we went to the beach again, and this time the sun was shining. Saturday the girls went shopping while the boys took the kids to a farmers market and to get icecream. In the afternoon we once again went to the beach. Sunday we woke up early to head to Boise. We stayed at My Aunt's again and got to spend some time with her. Monday we drove home. It was a really fun trip, but we are glad to be home.

Liam spent most of the time in his car seat. He was excellant. The girls in the cheese bus.
The cow that has been there since I started going to the cheese factory 10 years ago.

The girls watching the cheese being packaged.

The gang by the lighthouse. We didn't get a good picture of the lighthouse, but I 'm sure we'll see it again some other time.

Cute little Liam did not like being rained on and cried almost the whole time at the lighthouse.

Playing at the beach. They were pretending to surf.

On the deck blowing bubbles.

Sophia with her cake. Kyle's aunt Verona made some really cool cakes and cupcakes. Sophias was fish made out of circus peanuts.

Swimming in the ocean. The girls really loved it.

The house had a hot tub that Kyle and the girls went in several times.

The view from the deck of the house.

Ellie throwing one of her signature tantrums.

Grandma and Grandpa Vocana with all the grandkids. Their shirts all have their ages on them.

Our family.

There was a tunnel that went under a cliff from one beach to another. We went through it and this is a shot from a hole on the side of the tunnel. We have no idea who the people in the picture are.

It was fun to see you guys! We ended up with two of the girls littlest pet shops if they are looking for them. I think Phebe found them in her room. I will mail them or send them with Aubrey when I see her next week.
