For both parties everyone had to help open presents, which she doesn't mind because she is a very slow present opener.

Happy Birthday Sophia
Sophia turned 5 on July 27. I can't believe she is that old. On Tuesday, the 26th, we had a small family lunch. Macha, Dan and the twins came over for lunch and cake and ice cream. She also got to open her presents. She got some fun things including dress ups, littlest pet shop, and some Calico Corners dolls. On her birthday she had a tea party with 3 friends. They all brought their favorite stuffed animals. We made bracelets for the girls and their stuffed animals, had a little lunch with strawberry lemonade, mini muffins, fruit, cheese and veggies, they had a treasure hunt and of course the traditional pinata made by mom and dad. She had a lot of fun with her friends and once again got some fun presents.
This year she wanted a cat pinata.
Sophia trying to break the pinata. Everyone got a chance to hit it before Maya finally broke it.
All the cute girls at the party. Sophia made sure her sisters were invited, but Liam was downstairs with a babysitter.

Liam also had a milestone this week. He turned 4 months. He is doing really well. He weighs 15lbs 2oz. and is 25.5 inches. He is thinning out, but growing taller all the time. We also started him on rice cereal, which he loves. He hardly makes a mess and can never seem to get enough. He is starting to sleep more at night, but can't seem to sleep well during the day. I think it might be too noisy in our house so I'm hoping when school starts it will be a little quieter and he will nap better.
