Maya's Birthday Party

On Saturday Maya had a party for her 10th birthday.  When did she get so old?  She has really grown up this year.  She is so sweet and thoughtful.  She is always thinking of others and sharing with her siblings.  She is so smart and creative.  Her favorite thing to do is crafts.  We are so lucky to have her is our family.

Maya chose to have a craft party with a bird theme.  She had 3 friends come over and they painted bird houses, made clay birds and pom-pom animals.  I made a bird pinata and Maya decorated her cupcakes to look like birds.

It was a really fun party and all the girls had a really great time.  I have learned that most girls this age really love crafts.
