Oregon trip

Last weekend we drove to Oregon to visit Grandma and Grandpa Vocana. We had a really great time and did lots of fun things.

On the way there, we stopped at Multnomah Falls and hiked to the bridge.

 One day we went to Astoria and climbed the Astoria Column.  The whole family made it up, even though it made some nervous.

 Liam climbed up and down all 164 stairs all by himself.

 Then we went to Ft. Stevens.  We played around the battery.  The kids thought it was pretty cool.

 There is also a ship wreck on the beach.  It was pretty neat to see.

 We then went to Cannon Beach to play in the sand and water.  It was a little cold, but that didn't stop the kids.

 We ended up having to take Liam's pants off because he got them too wet.

 We happened to be there on Maya's 10th birthday and had a little party for her.  She had a great birthday.

 We also went  to the zoo.  The kids absolutely loved it.

 Of course we couldn't go to the zoo without spending some time with the flamingos.

It was a really great trip, but we were all glad to be home by the time it was over.
