Southern Utah trip

Last week Kyle's brother Brian and his family came for a visit.  On Wed. we headed down to St. George and had a great weekend.  Thursday we went to Zion's and did a lot of hiking.
The first hike we did was the overlook after the Carmel tunnel.
 The whole gang
 Liam checking out the view.
Next we went along the river walk at the end of the park.  We didn't go into the river, but the kids had a great time throwing rock into it.
They all tried out climbing on the rocks.  I think it might be time for Macha to get them out climbing.

Throwing rocks into the river proved to be great entertainment for all the kids.

We stopped and did the short hike to weeping rock.  There wasn't a lot of water, but it was still beautiful.
We also hiked emerald pools, but didn't get any good pictures.
On Friday we went to Snow Canyon and hiked Johnson's  canyon and Jenny's canyon
The kids loved all the holes  in the walls of Jenny's canyon.

We also went to the Sand Dunes, a must in Snow Canyon.
All the kids buried Phebe in the sand.
Maya built the St. George temple out of sand.

On Saturday before we left we stopped of at Pioneer Park.  The kids loved climbing on all the rocks.  We never leave enough time for kids to play, they always want to stay later.

We also drove through Kolob Canyon and hike out to Observation Point.  It was so pretty.

We also went to the Manti temple, St. George temple, Brigham Young's winter home, and Cove Ft.  It was a really great weekend with great weather.
