We've been doing a lot of hiking lately. The kids have loved it. We are trying to go at least once a week on a weekday evening, weekends are too crowded. We've had a great time and can't wait to go again this week.
This is not a hiking picture, but I was gardening at the temple and thought these flowers looked so pretty. Usually this corner of the temple is ugly, but they've changed it this year and it looks so much better.
Our first hike of the summer was Lisa Falls up Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is super short, but super fun. The kids loved just playing on the rocks at the falls. They also kept asking to have their picture taken.Liam thought he was falling, but in reality his feet were only an inch off the ground
Liam showing off his muscles.
The kids have been getting along for the most part. Liam and Ellie cuddled up together to watch TV.
The second hike we took was to Lake Solitude up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We started at silver Lake and then headed to Lake Solitude. There were very few people once we got past Silver Lake. This hike was about 3 miles round trip, but not too difficult. We saw deer, a duck that walked right up to us, a moose, and 2 beaver. The kids thought the animals were pretty cool.

Wow! Guess it's been a while since I looked at your blog or something because your kids all look HUGE in these pictures! Way to be good hikers.
