Happenings

Last week the girls had their Christmas recitals.  I only got this picture of Ellie, none of the other girls.  I did get video, but am having a hard time uploading it.  They all did great.  Ellie is loving ballet.  She loves working at the bar and is doing so well.

 Liam has been having a rough couple of weeks.  He's been fighting a cough and we've been having a hard time controlling his BG.  He's been high and we can't seem to bring him down.  What this means for me is that he is tired and cranky all the time.  To try to keep him happy one day, I built him a fort in his room.  He made it comfy and brought my kindle in and watched T.V.  It kept him happy for a couple of hours.

Maya had her orchestra concert last week.  The orchestra one consists of 2 classes and about 60 kids.  I was so impressed with how well they sounded.  The teacher is incredible.  You can tell he loves his job, he has so much enthusiasm.  It was really great to watch.

 This week it has snowed a ton.  We have  gotten about 1 1/2 feet.  Yesterday the kids even had late start for school which hasn't happened since my kids started school.  We've shoveled a lot and played in the snow.

 Last night was Sophie's choir concert.  She did such a great job .
