In June, Maya went to Girl's Camp, so I decided to head back up to Bear Lake with the other kids for the week. We decided to bring along Sophie's friend Maggie. We had a great time just hanging out and swimming. It was fun to be up there with nothing planned.
The day we got there, we headed to the beach for a couple of hours. We just found a spot of the side of the road and swam. The water is so high that we set up our chairs right next to the car and swam. Sophie and Maggie are such great friends. They met in first grade and have been best friends ever since.
My cute Ellie.
Liam is my water baby. He could spent all day every day in the water.
I can't believe how old Sophie is getting. She is looking more and more like a middle schooler.
The next morning we went hiking. Sophie wasn't feeling well, so she stayed at the cabin with my Dad and the rest of us went hiking. Maggie is like another member of the family so she decided to come hiking rather than stay with Sophie.
Later that day a friend of mine and her kids came and we went to the beach again. It was so fun to have her because our kids get along really well. Her little girl got an ear infection so they left the next day.
Liam went swimming in the morning while the girls stayed back at the cabin with my Dad. I had to drag him away from the pool when it was time for lunch. For the first 45 minutes, he was the only person in the pool and he loved it.

After lunch we went back to the beach and all the kids took a turn with the kayak. Sophie can zip all around in that thing.
Liam is pretty good at it as well.
Ellie tried, but had a bit of a harder time than the other kids. She's getting better though.
Sophie and I just hung out on the deck on the last night enjoying the view. The kids had a great time and were tired from all the fun and swimming. We went home Friday and were greeted by Maya who had just gotten home from camp. She had a great time at camp.
