September

The day after Labor Day we got a huge wind storm.  I was at Draper Park at lunch time and right in front of my car this branch broke and fell on the side walk.  There was a lot of damage and power outages in the area, but we were fine at our house and just had a couple of small branches fall.
Liam is playing soccer and loving it.  His team is actually pretty good, and there is another type 1 on his team.  His team member was diagnosed about 2 weeks into the season.  I think it's nice for both of them to have a type 1 friend on their team.
A couple of weekends ago the kids didn't have school so Kyle, Liam, and my dad went to the cabin to cut wood and the girls had a girls weekend.  We invited Claire over for a sleepover and went to lunch and shopping.

Liam and Kyle put together awesome lego corvette at the cabin.  This was Liam's prize for learning how to give himself his own shots and doing it for 2 weeks.  I'm really proud of him, giving himself is something that he was really scared of doing and he is now doing it like it's nothing.

The boys went in Logan canyon on the sinks road to collect wood.  Kyle said Liam was a great helper and they were able to get all they needed for the winter in just one day.

The high school has been shut down for 2 weeks because they had too many COVID cases so Maya and Sophie have been home doing online school.  It's been hard, but they've been doing pretty well.  We find out tomorrow when school will open back up and what it will look like, but robotics has been approved to start to meet this week so we are happy about that.  Maya is on the team again doing programming and Sophie has joined and is working on the art/business side of things.

Great to see your kids! Liam looks like he shot up! Tall - and strong! Those tree logs looked huge
