Wednesday was Ellie's 12th birthday. Due to an increase in COVID cases in our area, we decided that she couldn't have a birthday party. She was pretty sad, but I think she managed to have a good day anyway. She loves all things lemon, so I made her lemon cupcakes. They were delicious.
The kids got to paint shirts, which Ellie loved, and then Ellie got to have a scavenger hunt with small gifts hidden throughout. Our family loves scavenger hunts and this one was no different. We had her favorite dinner, Mongolian Beef with my parents and then she had a ZOOM Young Women's activity. All in all it was a good day for her.
Yesterday was World Ballet Day so here is Ellie performing a pirouette. Ellie is such an amazing kid. She is kind, smart, friendly, sweet, caring, hard working, moody, and so much more. Happy Birthday Ellie!

My kids are big lemon fans as well! Especially Aaron gets all things lemon on his birthday. :) Happy Birthday again Ellie!
