The Monday before Christmas we headed up to Bear Lake to see the Christmas Star. It was a clear night and we were able to see it really well. We were also able to see it with the telescope. It was really cool and we were glad we took the time to go to the cabin. We enjoyed a relaxing evening and headed home Tuesday morning.

Christmas Eve we went to Dan's for the traditional dinner, nativity and bingo. Dan made a delicious Jerusalem inspired dinner. Middle Eastern food is some of my favorite so I really enjoyed it.
After dinner the kids put on a nativity. It was full of giggles, but still really good.
After the nativity we played bingo. Then we drove home to open pajamas.
The kids also got a book and this year Sophie wanted to read it.
We opened presents at my parents again and zoomed all those who weren't able to make it.
