New Years

 For New Years we packed up everyone and headed up to the cabin.  We had a great time.  My parents and Dan and his family were there.

One morning Kyle, Ellie and Liam snuggled on the couch.

We went snowshoeing on New Years Eve.  It was a short hike, but so much fun.

Sophie had a migraine and Maya just didn't want to come to it was just Ellie, Liam, Kyle and I.

A view of the lake.  We started at the rest stop at the top of Logan Canyon and made a loop up a ridge with a great view.

The kids found a log with fresh snow underneath it and had a blast jumping off it.

Jake doesn't like fire works so before our firework show, we had to drug him.  He went under the table and couldn't move so Kyle carried him into the bedroom so my mom could comfort him.

The moon was beautiful that night.

Arm wrestling to pass the time until midnight. We all made it to midnight then went to bed.

New years day we went snowshoeing again.  This time Sophie joined us.  This was a longer hike, but very pretty.  

Liam treating a low.  Snowshoeing always brings lows.  We try to prevent them by feeding him granola bars before, but lows inevitably happen.

It was a great long weekend.  We really enjoyed spending time as a family.
