July 4th weekend we went to Mountain Home Idaho to spend some time with Kyle's family. Kyle's grandmother lives there and his uncle, aunt, and mom were all there visiting.
On the way there we stopped at Shoshone Falls. It was really busy and incredibly hot, but it was still pretty. At the bottom of the falls there were a bunch of kayakers and the kids wanted to be kayaking as well.

It wasn't the most exciting weekend for the kids, there was a lot of sitting around and talking, but the hotel we stayed at had a really nice pool so it made the weekend fun. Liam loves to swim and we went swimming several times each day.
We went twice to the pool and were able to watch the fireworks from the parking lot of our hotel.
Liam, Ellie, Kyle, Renee (Kyle's mom), and Nora (Kyle's grandma).
We came home for a day and then went to the cabin for a reunion with Kyle's parents and his brother Jeff and family. It was a fun weekend with lots of games, corn hole, going to the adventure park, hanging out at the lake, and renting a UTV.
Sophie even played corn hole.
Sophie and I spent a lot of time hiding from the sun under out shade tent.
The water is really low, so we could walk out quite far in the water.
Kyle and Jeff are pretty good at corn hole and had a healthy competition going.
This September is Kyle's parents 50th anniversary and since we won't be able to go to their house for the actual day, we decided to throw a small party. We really just talked and had cake, but it was nice to be able to celebrate.
Parents of 2 of their 3 boys. Brian, the oldest wasn't able to come.
We also rented a UTV and went riding in Logan Canyon. It was a lot of fun.
The whole family that was able to come to the reunion.
