New England day 2

Today Kyle and I drove to Fort Ticonderoga. It is an old fort on Lake Champlain. It's was originally owned by the French, then the British took it,  and in 1775 the colonists took it.  It was really interesting and really pretty.  We took a tour and then wandered around and looked at the exhibits.

The fort had a lot of canons. And a great view of the lake.

We watched a demonstration of muskets.  Very loud and smoky but cool.
We are lunch in town,  and then went to the top of Mount Defiance. It had a great view of the valley and the fort.

In town we found a cute park with a covered bridge and a waterfall.

The fort also had an English garden with some really cool buildings.  This is one of the buildings.

Kyle with Salil. Salil loves Kyle and loved it when he held him like this.
Salil hunched over and feel asleep.

Sanchit made a delicious dinner and we walked around Corinth along the Hudson River. It is a cute little town.
