Dance

 

Last night Ellie had her dance recital.  She did such a great job, even when there were technical difficulties.

Her favorite dance this year was jazz.  I love how her personality really came out in the dance.

This is her ballet technique class dance. She is in the washed out tan costume.

She did great in her pointe dance.  During one of the shows, her shoe came off and she kept dancing until she had time to fix it.  I was so proud of how she handled the situation.

Modern was not her favorite dance.  She found it a little boring to dance in.  She does the firebird toward the middle and is lifted at the end. The music stopped partway through, but the girls kept dancing.  They are a well trained group of girls

This was my favorite finale the studio has ever done.  The music stopped working, and the girls kept going.

The recital was so fun to watch.  In other dance news, Ellie made Alta High's JV Ballroom team for next year.  We are so excited for her and she is excited to learn a new style of dance.
