For fall break, Ellie, Macha, Nancy and I flew to Albany New York to visit Allie. It was such a great trip.
The pictures are backwards, so we'll start at the end of the trip. We took Salil to a pumpkin patch. Salil was a little cranky, but perked up toward the end.
Salil really liked the chickens. He didn't really like the other animals, but kept going back to the chickens and other birds.
We also went on a train ride. We were there at the tail end of the fall colors, but it was still really pretty. It was very cold, so we all had to bundle up.
One day we drove to Woodstock Vermont and l met up with Scott and his family. It was a very pretty drive,
Woodstock is such a pretty town and it was so nice to see Scott and his family. We were so grateful that they were willing to drive to see us.
One day we hung out closer to Allies place. We drove to Lake George and went to lunch, shopped, walked around and just looked at the area.
Allie found a gluten free bakery in the area and we were able to get Ellie lots of goodies.
We hid tiny ducks around the house one day while Salil was at day care and he loved looking for them.
We went into Saratoge Springs to shop and had dinner with Sanchit at Skidmore College. It is a really pretty town and a pretty campus.
Saratoga is known for horses and ballet. They used to hold a summer program for the New York ballet. They have painted pointe shoe statues throughout the town.
We also went to the Ulyssus S. Grand cottage. It's pretty neat, but it was very cold and we were not prepared for the weather.
Ellie and Salil wore matching Halloween Jammies.
We had such a great trip and can't wait to go back.
