Spiders

One morning last week Sophie came running out of her bedroom saying that there was a spider that needed to be killed. Kyle was home, so she went and told him about the spider. She said it was a spider, but not just any spider, it wa a boy spider. Kyle asked her how she knew it was a boy. She innocently said because he was a boy color, not a girl color. Kyle asked her what she meant and she said that the spider was black, a boy color. Kyle asked her what other colors boy spiders were and she replied, blue, green and black. He then asked what color girl spiders were. She said pink, purple and yellow, girl colors. Sadly, according to her classification, she will never get to see a girl spider. After this conversation Kyle dutifully killed the spider. Sophie would not return to her room until the spider was gone, and flushed down the toilet. She really, really dislikes spiders.
