Is it possible to PRACTICE watching sports?

Maya has been constantly asking Kyle if he likes to watch anything other than sports on TV. His answer has consistently been "no". Maya was coming home from school last week in a neighborhood carpool and she was asked what she was going to do when she got home. She said that she was going to PRACTICE watching sports so that she could watch sports when Kyle got home from work that night. If it's true that practice makes perfect, then Maya is far from perfect at watching sports.
