November was a big month, Ellie was baptized. About a week before her baptism I took her up the canyon for some pictures. She was a trooper. It was super cold and there was frost on all the rocks. I think we got some pretty good shots of her. I can't believe how old she looks. She is such a pretty girl and so sweet.
Not the best picture of our family, but with 4 kids sometimes you take what you can get. It was such a great baptism and we had a small little group of family there.
Grandma and Grandpa Vocana came for Ellie's baptism, so we decided to take a trip to Moab and Arches National Park. It was not the trip we planned. The first night Liam was up all night throwing up so I ended up spending the whole next day in the hotel with him. Fortunately he woke up the last day feeling a lot better so we went to Goblin Valley and he was able to run around and climb on rocks.
We were able to do a couple small hikes before it got dark the day we got there.
On the day Liam was sick, the others went and did several hikes.
They made it to Delicate Arch.
Grandma Vocana even made it even though the last bit terrified her because she is afraid of heights.
In Goblin Valley we hiked to the end of the valley and found a small cave. Maya didn't go in, she doesn't like small spaces.
My Dad gave us a little remote control boat, so one day at lunch we met Kyle at a small pond and played around with it.
We watched Claire one weekend while Janet ran the NYC marathon. We went to the Curiosity Museum and had a lot of fun.
Sophie had a veteran's day program at school. They did such a great job. Grandma and Grandpa were in town for the baptism, so they got to come, which was really neat because they don't get to see the kids school stuff very often.
Ellie's baptism.
I had to practice doing Ellie's makeup for Nutcracker. Hair I can do, but makeup is a bit harder for me.
More photo's from our Arches trip.
In Goblin Valley Liam's BG kept dropping so he spent a lot of time eating candy and waiting. I kept expecting him to throw up from all the sugar we were making him eat, but he did ok. He just gets impatient waiting for his BG to come up when everyone else gets to run around and play.
For Thanksgiving we went to Dan's and had an amazing dinner. Friday we all went to the cabin to move some of the furniture in. It is not finished, but the main level is done enough to have the couch and table. We can't wait to be able to use it more often.
The kids played lots of games while we were there.
