Summer fun

The first week of June we decided to head to Bear Lake and spent a week  at the cabin.  Dan and his family were there for part of the week and Nancy and my mom were there as well.  Kyle and my dad came for the weekend.  It was so much fun to be with family and so nice to get away from the house.
One day was spent at the lake.  It was a really nice day and we kayaked, paddle boarded and played in the sand.

This is the big sand project.  there were lots of holes with rivers connecting them.
Jake got hurt so Claire took good care of him.
We hiked twice.  The first time was with everyone.  We hiked to an old saw mill  in Logan canyon.  It was so pretty.  The trail followed a river that had lots of beaver ponds.
All the kids with Nancy and Macha in front of what  is left of the saw mill.

We also went hiking at the Limber Pine trail one morning while Dan and his family (except Claire) went mountain biking.  We do the  limber pine trail a lot, but we really like it because there are lots of places to climb on trees and rocks.

The flowers were in bloom and so pretty.
We also went tubing.  The kids loved in and are begging to go again next time we go to the cabin.

The tubing is so fun and very reasonably priced.  It's outside so I'm not so worried of COVID, plus they limit the number of people and sanitize everything.

I also got the class pictures from dance.  This year they didn't do professional pictures, rather the owner of the studio just took some pictures with her camera and sent them to us.  Not ideal, but you have to work with the restrictions in place.  I am glad for the pictures and think they turned out just fine.
