Maya has been working hard on her college applications. It's crazy to me that we are at the point in life that our daughter is applying to college. Right now Maya is really hoping to get into BYU, so we took a tour a couple of weeks ago.
For fall break I really wanted to get away and go the cabin. I asked the kids who wanted/could go and Ellie was the only one willing to go. My parents went, and we brought Ellie's friend Elle who happens to live about 5 houses from my parents.
We had a fun, relaxing weekend. The girls played lots of games, watched movies, and played video games.
One day we took Jake on a walk down by the lake.
Elle and Jake are now best friends.
One day my dad came with us to Fossil Butte National Monument. It was very educational and interesting. It is amazing to see all the fossils that were found in one valley.

On our way to Fossil Butte, there was a herd of sheep on the road. The girls thought it was really fun to see the sheep.
Jake loved all the attention he got from the girls.
After we got to the cabin we took a hike with my mom and Jake. It was a little cold, but so pretty.
It was a great weekend and the rest of the family enjoyed being home.
