Halloween

We had a pretty good Halloween this year.   First, on the 28th Ellie turned 13.  I didn't get any pictures, but she had a great birthday.  Kyle was out of town for her birthday, but he brought her a t-shirt.  On the 29th she had a low key birthday party with her friends.  She had friends comes over and they just hung out and played night games.  We now have 3 teenage girls in her house.  Ellie is such a great kid.  She is kind, smart, hard working, bubbly, social,  a slob, she had a big heart, and we are so glad she is part of our family.

Our ward had a trunk or treat that was a lot of fun.  The primary presidency was in charge so I had a lot to do to get ready.  We had a really great turn out and everyone had a good time.

Sophie and Maya manned our car because I was in charge of the doughnuts and hot chocolate.

The girls all dressed up as characters from the book Sophie is writing based on Japanese mythology.

Ellie went trick or treating with her friends.  They also watched a movie.

Liam is Kylo Ren.  He also went trick or treating with some of his friends.  

Maya and Sophie dressed up but didn't trick or treat.  They went to my parents to pass out candy.  Ellie and Liam both stopped by with their friends.  It's nice to live to close to Macha and Papa.
