Field Trip

On Wed. Maya's preschool class went on a field trip to an assisted living center to sing to the residents there. I was surprised at how well all the kids, especially Maya did. They didn't act scared or anything. Maya did great. She sang and did all the actions, even when no one else was doing them. I am glad that Maya got the opportunity to go and serve the residents. It was great for her to see how happy something she did could make someone else. In fact afterwards she commented how happy the songs seemed to make all the people. What a great lesson for a 4 year old to learn.


This is Sophie eating her brownie the other night. She picked the whole thing up at once at took bites out of it that way. I thought it was a cute picture opportunity.
