The week before school started, our health insurance had a day at Hogle Zoo for all it's members. I took the kids and we had a great time. We got there early before it was crowded and got to see a lot of the animal being fed. We even got to see the sea lions being trained.
Liam, Sophie and Ellie got their faces painted like animals. Liam got a penguin,
Ellie got a butterfly,
Sophie got tiger stripes.
We were also able to go the a Rawlings family reunion. This was all of Grandma Vila's siblings children. It was on a farm so we got to go see the calves, some only a day or 2 old. We also got to see how they milk the cows.
There was this darling kitten roaming the barn. It was so tiny.
We spent the night in Logan and went for a walk up the canyon in the morning before we left. It was a really nice day and we saw lots of fish.
Last week the girls started school. Maya started middle school (6th grade) which is totally crazy to me. She does not seem old enough to be in middle school. Sophie is in 4th grade and Ellie in 1st. So far they all really like their teachers and classes.
After we took the girls to school, Liam and I went to my parents to exercise. Liam was having a talent show with some hats and begged me to take his picture.
