California Adventure

Monday we went to California Adventures.  It rained for most of the day, until about 3:00, but we didn't mind.  It kept a lot of people out of the park.  Most of the rides weren't too long.  We rode Cars 3 times ( it was our favorite), rode Soarin' Round The World twice (short line and it's inside out of the rain), we rode all the small rides and the fun traditional rides.  The only ride we didn't ride that we wanted to was Toy Story.

 We also really liked Mater's tractors.  We rode it twice, even in the rain.

The Cars ride was a lot of fun.  Right when the park opened we got in line (about a 15 min wait) and then we were able to do fast passes 2 more times.  The kids could have ridden it all day long.

 
 We rode all the traditional rides, including the carousal.  There were no lines for these rides.  We just walked up and got right on.

 After dinner we took a break and watched the Frozen show.  It was fantastic.  It was a stage version of the movie and shortened to an hour.  Everyone enjoyed it and it was a nice break from all the walking. After the show we went into the animation building and Anna was there.  There was no line, so we were able to meet her.

After we met Anna, we went to the Turtle Talk with Crush.  It was a lot better than I though is was.  It was very interactive.  Liam was chosen to talk to Crush and it was pretty cool.  We also got to see World of Color, but we left after 15 minutes.  It's kind of long and the kids were tired.  By leaving early we were also able to beat the crowd out.  It was a great day, and once again the kids were awesome.  We only had one meltdown by Maya because she got scared in the Bug's Life move and I ended up taking her out before it even stated.
