In August the Alta High Robotics team puts on a camp where kids can come for 4 days and learn about robotics. They pair up and build a small robot and on the last day they have a competition. Maya had to go help, so Ellie decided that she wanted to go. She had a lot of fun. She paired up with her friend Brinn and Dan's boys also went. Ellie's robot didn't do very well, but she was ol with that because she said it was fun anyway.
The whole group. This is a big fundraiser for the team and this year they had 20 kids participate. Maya got to spend most of her time helping Ellie and making the plaques each kid received.Ellie, Brinn and their robot.
School started last weekend. This year Maya is taking early morning seminary so she can take AP computer science. This means she has to be at school at 6:30 am so she is gone before any of the other kids are awake. She is a Sophomore and is really enjoying all her classes this year. She even has the same teacher for AP World Civ. that I had my Sophomore year.
Sophie started 8th grade. So far she is liking her classes. She has enjoyed seeing all her friends again.
Ellie started 5th grades with Ms. Wilson as her teacher. Sophie had Wilson and we loved her so we are really excited for this year. Liam started 3rd grade with Ms. Oldroyd, who Ellie had and we are really happy about that. They are both loving school and have friends in their classes.
Ellie and Sophie started dance again. Sophie is taking Jazz and Ellie takes 2 ballet classes, modern, and jazz so she is super busy.
Liam is playing soccer and had his first game Saturday. His team won and he even scored a goal.
Saturday Maya learned to iron and now understands why I love to iron. She also find it very soothing and calming.
Maya also got her Personal Progress. This was not easy, but she worked hard and got it all done. We are really proud of her.
