Fire Station

Maya's preschool went on yet another field trip last Thurs, this time to the fire station. Sophie and I tagged along again. It was really fun. The firefighters talked about fire safety. They did a really cute puppet show that Sophie loved. They also did some skits with the kids to teach them what to do during a fire. We've talked to Maya about what to do during a fire, but it was a good reminder. They really liked going and looking at the fire trucks. The fire fighters opened up the trucks and showed the kids all of their tools and how everything works. All in all I thought it was an entertaining and educational field trip.
