This is Ellie's full ballet class. One of the girls wasn't able to dance in the recital due to an injury but she came so they could all get their picture taken together.
Sophie and Maya are working this summer. They both work at Holkulia making shaved ice. Sophie really likes it and Maya just sort of puts up with it. There are 6 girls from our ward working there because the owners live in our ward. Here is Sophie with Aliyah working.
Some of Ellie's ballet class. One of the girls (Eva May, in the black) made her schools dance company so won't be back next fall. There were lots of tears at the end of the recital. These girls have spent years dancing several times a week and have gotten really close.
The girls plus their teacher Meredith. Meredith has been teaching Ellie for 6 years and we love her. She is an amazing teacher and an awesome person.
These were the only girls that were able to make it to the official pictures.
Ellie has really missed dance so far this summer. This week she is doing a ballet intensive and we are all excited. She is a much happier person when she can go to dance with all her friends.
